while i am building my new website with wordpress, here are some recent projects I worked on:

revamp in process

Just like when your cat goes missing for two weeks, and then returns home a little skinnier but full of experience--I too am returning to the world wide web community.

I am working on a revamp for lovely fouramfriends, experimenting with different platforms such as wordpress and even designing something from scratch in adobe.

i woke up from the craziest dream last night. cort and i have been thinking about getting an animal for my enjoyment lately, and we have been watching a lot of dogs 101 on the discovery channel. that may or may not be where this dream stems from.

the dream, like many of my dreams, was just a small glimpse of a larger story. we had adopted 5 dogs, all at the age of puppies. ... and dont' worry, we also had a baby pig. through out the course of the dream the pups grea up, but the pig stayed a baby. (what the hell do you call a baby pig. wilbur?) while walking the dogs, and the pig, we stopped at a doggie park where the bigger dogs started chasing the baby pig -- until finally one of the dogs decided to get a little rough with the baby pig ending its life. morbid story i know, but such was my dream.

I last posted when I was applying for the job I currently have, so I will pick up from there.

June 2009 :: Became Assistant Branch Manager for Family First Federal Credit Union
August 2009 :: College Graduation with a BA in Media Arts
October 2009 :: Cort and I purchased a condo in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
December 2009 :: Scored 89/each way tickets to NYC.
Jan 2010-Now :: Not much to report on...

And now with the weather getting better and our first time homebuyer credit finally arriving, we are making some plans for home upgrades.

Life is manageable right now. I like that.

During my application process for the assistant manager position at the credit union, I was asked to come up with a promotional poster for one of our visa cards. Here is mine. I only had 24 hours to whip it out. You should see the others.

the tony awards excite me every year. neil patrick harris was the host of last night's Tony's and he said something that i feel i can relate to. he described his memory of growing up in new mexico as a child and loving to sit around the television to watch the tony awards every year. it offered him a glimpse into the exciting life of entertainment that he desired. granted, he moved west to play a kid doctor. but still -- i think a lot of us enjoy the Tony's for that very same reason. I've been to NYC several times now, and I still get that goosebumpy feeling when I think about broadway. Love it! Theater runs in my blood.

on a side note -- the audio from last night's awards was horrible. during the beginning number, one of the lady's mics was not muted when it should have been and we heard her warming up off stage. awesome. someone lost their job last night.
